REVEGO Environmental Solutions and Technologies were at the center of attention with its state-of-the-art technology and sustainability-oriented environmental solutions at IFAT 2024, the world's leading ecological tradeshow held every two years.
Drawing attention with its specially designed stand and experience area, the company provided visitors with important information about its Deposit Reverse Vending Machines and Mobile Return Station projects in environmental solutions. REVEGO's innovative approach and its work in the field of environmental technologies attracted the attention of visitors.
The purpose of the “Deposit Reverse Vending Machines ” designed by REVEGO in the first stage within the scope of environmental solutions is to collect used PET, glass, and plastic beverage packages by correctly identifying them and returning the deposit to the consumer. By returning the product deposit, the consumer contributes to the environment, reduces their carbon footprint, and supports sustainability. When emptied beverage packages are into the Deposit Reverse Vending Machines, their specialized DRS logo is scanned and matched with the provided standards of the recyclable items’ image and authenticated via weight control. The packages are sorted according to their material identification and stored via crushing or breaking them for a minimum volume, allocated and embedded at the RVM container. The allowed deposits are returned to the consumer via receipt, QR-directed pocket wallet, or NFC card top-up. Ultimately, it is aimed to collect these packages, 90 percent of which are released into nature, and bring them into the economy.
